Annie 捎來的卡通短片 “ Alike “ 短小精緻，短短的八分鐘講了一個平凡溫馨的故事，涵蓋面廣及許多現代人生之課題，包括想像力的啟發對幼童的重要。

近年來卡通影片走向趨於 3D 的製作，亳無疑問這是觀眾樂於接受之普遍趨勢。然而 2D 影片仍有極大的空間，以下介紹兩部卡通長片是 Linda 介紹給我的 feature animated films, written earlier in a separate correspondence.

剛看了兩個卡通影片，是 Ireland animator Tomm Moore 拍攝的 “The Secret of Kells” 和 ”Song of the Sea”.. 歐洲電影製作的風格和美國出産的大衆化作品不太一樣, like a breath of fresh air, 非常有創意。
這兩部卡通影片據稱皆為手繪水彩，畫面採用傳統繪法而非電腦製作。裡頭用許多幾何圖形及平面構圖，有些像中國農民畫（將立體形象移成平面）雖是2D 卻頗靈動。我尤其喜歡它的色彩及光影的表現，猜想你們會喜歡。
